  • 1.  Sorry but I forgot to mention

    I need to get the count of all Adobe Acrobat versions from Altiris and would be something like noted below to show Software Display Name, Display Version, Manufacturer, Count.  I appreciate the help

         
    Adobe Acrobat Professional     8     Adobe Systems, Inc.     4
    Adobe Acrobat Professional     9     Adobe Systems, Inc.     11
    Adobe Acrobat Standard         7     Adobe Systems, Inc.     9

    I think you're asking for something like this,

    select count(*),DisplayName,DisplayVersion, Publisher from Inv_AddRemoveProgram
    where DisplayName like 'Adobe Acrobat%'
    AND Inv_AddRemoveProgram.InstallFlag=1
    group by DisplayName,DisplayVersion,Publisher

    Can't quite see what the second column of numbers here refers to.. could you elaborate?

    Thanks, one more question. I needed to show the count using the same query for active licenses or active machines. Basically need to run the query for the count against Altiris database for Adobe products that are actively being used, don't know if this sounds confusing but the counts need to take into consideration the fact the counts for adobe licenses that are active or count systems with active status.
