This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi,

Posted on the EMEA partner page, but I doubt they get much traffic there.

When dialing ANY Symantec SA number (011 797 6602 is the support #), I get a message stating that the number is no longer valid...I have a critical call I need to reopen (after the Symantec tech support decided to close it)...

Can someone shed some light please? This is urgent!

Thanks!

How in the living h3ll am I supposed to escalate my calls? I can't call Symantec South Africa as none of their numbers work, and trying to register/log into the online support case creation site simply takes me back to the original page???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Try contacting the Customer Care number, +27 (0)11 797 6639.

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/assistanc...

They should be able to point you to a new support number.

Best,

Thomas

Craig, I'm trying to track down information. But I did find this information if it helps:

Johannesburg, South Africa site is experiencing an outage

Testing is being performed on the circuit to determine root cause. Cisco RMA of E3 card and BNC cable arrived onsite.

THanks Leslie...got 1 site that I really am unable to sort out, so I wanted someone to check logs etc and see what I was missing. THis explains why all the #s wouldn't work...thought it might be our stupid telecoms company, if Symantec went through them. If it was, it wouldn't surprise me in the least =)
