SPAM Quarantine Summary mail sent to distribution lists

Hi,
Eventually, users receives SPAM Quarantine Summary mail sent to distribution lists.
After researching the Brightmail's Help, i unchecked the option "Spam" -> "Settings" -> "Quarantine Settings" -> "Notify distribution lists". But still, the SPAM Quarantine Summary mail for distribution lists reach users of the respective group.
I can't uncheck "Enable distribution list expansion" in "Directory Integration", because the distribution lists should be processed.
The only problem here is SPAM Quarantine Summary mail for distribution lists reaching users, can't avoid that.
Any help and thoughts are appreciated.

Basically that option (Notify distribution lists) will only avoid notifications to be sent to actual distribution list addresses , regular users that are part of a distribution list will still be getting those notifications.
I would recommend you opening a case with Technical Support asking for an enhancement request OR add this under our Symantec Ideas forum:

Thank you for replying.
In fact, i do not expect avoiding notifications to be sent to regular users. But what does happen is that even unchecking "Notify distribution lists ", those distribution lists still receive notifications.

Do you have the enable distribution list expansion enabled? under Administration -> Settings -> Directory Integration?
If you do, then that is expected to happen.
