Hello,

Does anyone know the easiest way to span an image over 2 DVDs? With Office 2007, our image now exceeds 5 GB. And we're having trouble figuring out the best way to get this to work.

Our only alternative is to make the DVD copies of the image very lean and have our remote technicans push a series of Installs from the DS or pull from the NS Software Portal.

Thanks in advance,

Vake

You can specify the image

You can specify the image size for the DVD.
In Capture Disk Image Task, Click on Advanced button. A new window will appear.
from the drop down menu, select Maximum file size Other (specify).
specify the data in MB eg 3900 MB in case of DVD.
While capturing it will split the image at your specifed value.

If you have Siteservers in you environment then make use of Replication and copy the images to other servers.
