This issue has been solved. See solution.

Dear Friends

I installed SPC with a customer and when I finished installation it requires me to activate Windows. Which windows license do I have to give ?

Also, If I do not put an WSUS or the SPC is not connected to the Internet should I proceed with the instalation ? In this case for patching !

Also, how can I put this machine into a Microsoft domain ?

Tks in advance

Activation of Windows is an OS issue. See -

Since the SPC collects data from security products and the Global Intelligence Network, an Internet conection is needed. Here is a link to all the SPC documentation -

See this MS KB for adding to a  domain -

Hi Renato;

If you are referring to Symantec Protection Center 2.0 and above you can License it by using the 2008 R2 Web Core Edition non SP1 Key or a KMS Server if you have internet Availability.

The updates can be ran manually and you will need to contact Support to get the files sent to you and they must be installed in order to update properly.  If you would like to contact me and I can open a case and get you the pac files needed for the update to the current version.

The SPC workstation is meant to be separate from the domain in the sense that it is a secure product and is accessed via web browser to the SPC Server.  The spc server itself is in a lockdown environment separate from the domain.  (e.g. "https://ip address or SPC Server/symantec/ProtectionCenter")
