Hi -

When we run SEPLiveUpdate.exe, where does SEP client get the content from – Internet/Symantec ONLY or can we get it refer to SEP Client LiveUpdate policy settings (e.g. internal HTTP/FTP LU repository)?

It gets content from either the Symantec public LiveUpdate server or from internal LiveUpdate Administrator server, depending on which one is configured in the LiveUpdate policy.

LU will initiate with connect either to download from internal Live updae Server or internet Live update.

I would be glad to answer your query.

Enable the scheduling of automatic downloads from liveupdate servers. The schedule settings do not control downloads from the default management server, from Group Update Providers, or from third party content management tools. Downloads from the default management server depends upon heartbeat interval and selected mode. (Push mode or Pull mode)
