We have clients running Accounts software written in Microsoft Visual FoxPro & all report degradation in speed of the package when installing Endpoint, The software vendor's reply is that there are known problems with compatibility between Microsoft VFP databases & containers & Symantec Anti-Virus products to which they have no solution as yet - does anyone out there know of a way of speeding up access to tables & opening forms with Endpoint installed or will the 2 packages never co-exist?
ps - all of the database files & program folders are excluded from scansbut this appears to make no difference
