Hi, my company is using SIFMSMSE with the latest updates. Is there any way to block spoofed emails that are saying the sender = recipent? As in from:blah@mail.com to:blah@mail.com. I haven't found a whole lot while researching on the interent.

Thanks for anything you can give me on this one.

The only surefire way I know of does not involve SIFMSMSE at all. I would suggest you Setup an SPF record for your domain(s) that recieve mail (making sure to use the -all setting in your record) and turn on Sender ID Filtering in Exchange and set it to reject mail that fails Sender ID verification.

Learn how to use SPF here: http://www.openspf.org and read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sender_Policy_Framework

Learn how to use Sender ID here: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Configuring-enabling-Sender-ID-filtering-Exchange-2003-SP2.html
