Hi there  I have very recently started to use AMS for fully hardware, software inventories and the barcode solution.  I am in the middle of importing our non networked devices, i.e. docking stations to the system but I have a very frustrating problem where the system is only importing some of the data classes.  Despite checking all of the areas where the data classes are configured I cannot find the problem to why the system will not import the necessary data, e.g. the purchase order is taken over, but the purchase price is not.  Make and model will not come over from the spreadsheet despite me configuring this in the data import/export rules configuration area of the data classes.   Has anyone else come across a similar problem and if so, is there an easy fix?

Do you test your Import/Export rule and then view the log with all rows displayed?

Yes I checked this and the log stated there was no errors but when I review the asset a lot of the data in my spreadsheet

I attach a sample of the error.

    Thanks for your interest.

I'd advise reducing your import spreadsheet columns to the bare minimum; that will help you to isolate which column has the problem.

e.g. instead of import a spreadsheet with columns a to e, create a workbook with just column a then import, then add column b and then import again, then column c, and import again....and so on and so forth until you find which column has the probem - you could then isolate it to a cell inside the column using the same approach.
