Hi,

We have a backup problem and we cannot figure it out.
We use Netbackup 6.5.4 and we make sql backups with the sql netbackup sql client.

We have replaced an windows 2003 standard server with a Windows 2008 server 64 bit. Server has the same name as before.
Since that time the sql backup fails. Funny thing, the windwos backup runs perfect.
I checked all the security settings and everything seems to be oke, but the sql backup refuses to work.

Does anyone have any idea ?
All help is appriciated!!

Thanks in advance

Karel

Please elaborate

Karaltje,
What did you do to resolve your issue.
I'm seeing the same error with an SQL cluster with multiple IP addresses.
Thanks

with clusters you have to

with clusters you have to make sure each node has the script file. i even had to create separate policies for each of my cluster instances so i can create separate scripts for each one if i ever run more than one instance on a host

I'm waiting on my Networking group to add the reverse lookups.
hopefully that will solve my issues.
