What is this SQL Anywhere server?

I was reading the NBU catalog guide and came across this,Is this the Emm server?

3rd component of NB catalog is not clear

SQL Anywhere is more about development part for NBU.for more details about SQL anywhere take a look at below URL.

But no need to focus more on that after all it is a part of development / Engineering ....

SQL Anywhere is database software.

You can compare it with MsSQL in your environment - the dba's will first install SQL software, then create databases.

Same with NBU - SQL Anywhere database software is installed when NBU is the installed. Then NBDB database is created that is used for EMM.

Ok.So it is the internal database of NBU.
