SQL Backups (via *.bch files) and BPStart_Notify

Environment:  NetBackup 6.0 MP5 for Windows

Our DBA's create *.bch files for NBU to use to backup our SQL databases.  However, I need to use "bpstart_notify.policy.schedule.bat" to perform initial cleanup.  This process works fine when doing a windows backup, but the ".bat" file is not executed when performing a SQL backup.

Any suggestions?

I found an article from 2005 stating that "bpstart" and "bpend" are not supported when using a SQL Policy.  There has to be a way to provide the functionality I am requesting.

Again, any suggestions?

Omar,

I do not have it installed.  However, if NOM 6.5.x would, I would make the time to install it.
