  • 1.  SQL db scan configuration

    Hi,

I am trying to test sql database scanning, I have very limited knowledge of sql db's and would like a bit of clarity for the following:

The account used to scan must have permission to make the driver_table_query return results.

Does this account need to be a database account or can this be a domain account with permissions to do this within the db?

    Thanks

    Ralph

i would create a domain account if you have not already and use that to scan the db, it will need access to the db to read from what i remeber. look at the 2 links i have as they should cover everything you need
