If I grant write access to the credentials, will this user be creating objects in the database…it sounds like it because I can’t see any reason for it to be writing to the DB schema owner objects.
We have successfully scanned databases with only select priviledges.
My most recent scan against a MS SQL database was done with Read.
When scanning a DB with the Discover product the Scanner does NOT write anything to the DB. It will be running select statements and then scanning the ouput of them.
