Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

I just apply SP3 on my SQL 2005, then when I open the SQL Server Management console, it gave me the error, it say " The file c:\windows\microsoft.net\Framework\[] [] 4.[]\Mscorlib.tlb could not be loaded. An attempt to repair this condition failed because file could not be found. please reinstall this program.

when I open the event viewer--> application, it show the Error
.NET Runtime Optimization Service(clr_optimization_v2.0.50727_32)- Filed to compile: Microsoft. Reporting Service. QueryDesigners, Version = 9.0.242.0, Culture-neutral, PUblicKeyToken=89845dc8080cc91. Error code =0x80070002

Can some one help me about this?

.net 2.0 is required for SQL 2005, so it looks like something got corrupted with it. Try re-installing .net 2.0.

yeah as Jim Said repair or reinstall .Net 2.0.
Are you still using .Net 1.1 on this server?

I reinstall .NET2.0 but when I click my SQL Management console still have error show, please see the attachment

I reboot the server after I install back .NET2.0

Thanks, this fix my problem, all I did just following the instruction.
here is what I did
replace%CLRVERSION% to v2.0.50727 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Miscrosoft sQL Server\90\Tools\Shell\TlbAutoRepair\Mscorlib.tlb

when done I open the SQL management console without any error without reboot the server.
then I change back to %CLRVERSION%.

then I open the SQL Management consle, still work.

I do not know when I reboot the server, this error will come back or not
