I am trying to clean up the databases on 2 different Altiris servers (6.8). There are more systems listed in the NS than in the DS. What I am finding is that, over time, local site admins would take computers offline and delete them out of the DS. However, many times they did not remove them from the NS, so they are still hanging out there. The way Altiris was built (pre 7.0 apparently), these are 2 separate databases, and it seems like this would be a very common problem. However, I have not been able to find any way to compare the 2 databases, to see what is in one, but not the other.
Does anyone know of an existing report that I can't find, or have a SQL report that would do this for me?
