This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi All,

we are running SQL 2008 R2 and the reporting services have been setup. I am currently trying to install the EV reporting but I constanitly get the error "ensure that you can access the reporting page..." but if I open the webpage (using the FQDN) then it works, localhost also works.

We are running EV 9.0.3. Any advise would be great.

Hi Rob,

SQL 2008 R2 actually installs its own webserver, rather than using IIS. However, I found on some testing that I was doing that the installer is checking to make sure that IIS services are available. You may need to install the following iis roles on the SQL server to allow installation to work:

Management Tools/IIS 6 Management Compatibility/IIS 6 Management Console

Failing the technote above and the adding of these roles, you could post the installation log:

C:\program files (x86)\enterprise vault\evreports\evdeployreports.log

Regards,

Jeff
