sql2005 express on be12.5

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I want to backup sql2005 express, but i didn't find any menu. it is totally different with sql2005 standard or enterprise.
could somebody tell me the truth? does be12.5 support or not?

Hi,

If you load up the SQL agent you will be able to backup your DBs. BE uses SQL Express for its own database.
Without it, you're going to have to do a flat-file backup by stopping SQL, and then backing up the files there-after.
Using the agent allows for online backups and restores.
