Just want to know really when it comes up about Risk and Security Risk in SSC what the difference between the 2 are and how do you view the Security Risk?

This change is as-designed. The new behavior happens on computers that run Symantec AntiVirus 10.x with virus definitions dated August 14, 2006 or later.

This change creates consistency in the manner that Symantec AntiVirus reports detections from Auto-Protect and from on-demand scans. Before this change, Symantec AntiVirus reported certain threats as a Risk when the threat was detected during an on-demand scan. Symantec AntiVirus now reports all threats as a Security Risk.

Risk -would include - Trojans,Virus, Worms, rootkits etc..which is harmful for your computer and these cannot be excluded.

Security Risk - These are programs which might be harmful for your organization but might be useful for others. These are mainly security tools, Keyloggers, hacking tools, Remote access login , joke wares, Toolbars..etc
