SSC on Server 2008 64bit

This issue has been solved. See solution.
We currently have Symantec AV 10.2 which we can install on 32 or 64 bit machines but the Symantec Security Console will not install on Server 2008 64 bit, is there a fix for this for this version or do I need to go to the latest version, which seems to be 11?

SAV or SEP
SAV and SEP are very diffrent products..
well in SAV 10.x you cannot install SSC on 64 bit.
In SEP you can install your Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager on 32 and 64 bit.
in SEP you get many more features and benifits..so you can upgrade to SEP to get a more secured computing..

In my test environment, I have successfully installed SEP MR4 MP2 on a 64-bit computer running Windows 2008 (64-bit). So if you decide to go with SEP on the 64-bit computer, there is a 64-bit version of SEP available for both the Policy Manager and the agents if the agents are running on a 64-bit computer.
