hello,
I have the following problem:
I install the SIM on the CP DL 360G5 server with 2 Xeon processors 32GB memory and 2 X 500GB Raid 1 (E200i RAID Controller).
The installation is successful but it does not work after instalation - WEB UI is not wroking.
When I write STATUS command to check which Services are running the message is: command not found.
I observed during installation it is slower than usual !

Has someone encountered a similar problem?
Please help.
Thanks in advanced

Zhelyazko

I am loged in linux console wit "root".

When i am open WEB UI error is HTTP 400 Bad Request.
Server has 2 disk WD WD5000BPKT WD 500GB SATAII 2.5" Black 7200rpm.
Could the problem be in slow disks? Symantec recomend - 15K Rpm disk for SSIM.

First when you logon with ssh as root, always use "su -" so it will load the right path to find status command.

once you have the status command out just post it here so we can see what services are not running (certainly simdbmu)

Can you  get the raw.log file from /opt/Symantec/simserver/logs directory?

I solved the problem.
Disk was too slow.
When I enable write cache on disk instalation is OK.
