SSIM4.6 collects SAV Logs

Hi,Guys:

 

   I need to collect SAV logs by SSIM4.6, i registed two .sip files(AVschema25.sip and datapackage.sip) in web console of ssim4.6 ,also i installed the ssim agent in SAV Server, but i can't get logs from sav server, please give me some help,thank a lot.

avschema.sip is no longer needed after 4.5.  You only need the sav sip.  If you want scf and collector events, you should install those sip's as well.


What version of EM4AV are you using?  Look at the properties of SAVSesa.dll then look at the Version tab.  You should minimally have 2.1.3.41.

 

 Also, monitor collector.log in the \program files\symantec\collectors\log folder.  See if that may give some clues as to what it is doing.

Hi, Rob:

    my sav server's version are 9 and 10.1, how can i to get those sip files that you said, i have sesa2.1_en installation package, are those sip files in this package? i need to know what's sip files i must to register,and a symantec engineer said i must to register sav's sip and install a collector framework of sav, so how can i do that to collector sav events by ssim4.6, thanks a lot~
