SSR 2011 Management Solution, "Backup Failures" status issue

This is about the SSR 2011 Mgmt Solution. I have several servers that are always reporting failed backups within "Alerts and Failures" >  "Backup Failures" despite them having no recent issues. Backup histories and everything are fine. When I retrieve the details of the computer objects they show a list of old events, some of which recorded failed backups. I have rebooted the servers and the management server, cleared the app logs, reinstalled the Altiris and Symantec mgmt agents, and deleted the computer objects then reimported them. Regardless, they continue to only list the older event log entries.

 

Short of just editing the management SQL database, is there some way to force the management server to retrieve the latest events?

I think you should open a case with support. Hope this may help you get a faster resolution.
