This issue has been solved. See solution.

I all,

after upgrading to SP2, the symantec console doesn't work properly anymore. If I try to open the second tab (managing activities or a similar name) it starts loading and then it displayes only the left sidebar, but nothing in the center of the page. any link in the left sidebar is disabled (doesn't work), also the refresh page button.

happens both on

Win 2008 r2 sp2 with IE8

Win xp sp3 with IE7

Try to run a repair through the SIM.

SSRMS console depends on Silverlight, have you tried reinstalling Silverlight?

Thanks,

Riyaj

Silverlight can be found under add/remove programms. But i personally doubt that this has something todo with silverlight as this is a programm that is installed the machine where you display the webpage, not on the server where the MS is installed, and you experience the problem on 2 different machines which would mean that on BOTH machines silverlight is broken in some way.

indeed it must be some silverlight problem, mabe server-sided as i get it from any client?

here is an error message I get after clicking on "clients that need attention" in tha graph on the first page of the console
