SSR2013 Desktop Edition Bluescreen of Death (BSOD) During Install

Earlier this week I attempted to install Symantec System Recovery 2013 (SSR 2013) Desktop Edition on a brand new out of the box HP Compaq 6300 Pro with Windows 7 Pro 32-bit installed. Towards the end of the SSR 2013 installation, the machine experienced a BSOD and then would not successfully reboot unless a system repair was conducted. Two attempts were made to install SSR 2013 onto this machine without success. Each install resulted in a BSOD and a system repair. However SSR 2011 installed perfectly and is now currently in use.
Has anyone experienced this issue with SSR 2013 during a fresh install?

I think its best to open a support ticket to sort the issue out !
