    Hello,

is there a way to start a full scan after virus detection with SEp 12.1.x? It may make sense as there is possibly an infecteted file on the disk which have not been yet touched with autodetect.

    thanks in advance.

I recommend you that if you can be detect any of virus in your system and you want to secured the system from other and want to scan the system.

You can run the symhelp utility to scan it.

It will help to identify all the suspicious file avail on the system.

After scan submit the report to symantec team.

If this is what you want then you can create a scheduled scan to run daily.

As long as you have Auto-Protect enabled, it will pick up any new detections once the new content is loaded.
