Start Over on the HD?
This issue has been solved. See solution.
We're currently in the proccess of migrating into a new infrastructure., and a server for the helpdesk.
I copy the db from the orignal helpdesk to the new one, to ensure some settings would work. Now however, i'd like to drop ALL that data from the db, incidents, workers, settings, etc. And start it from scratch. w/o having all the data I copied into it.
Is this do-able? And if so... whats the best way to accomplish this?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Kevin,
the migration path for a migration the helpdesk solution to another server is discribed in the Altiris Knowledgebase, Article 28976.
Go to http://kb.altiris.com and enter the articlenumber in the search field.

Thanks Torsten...
However, I'm not looking to "Migrate" I want to dump all the data I already "Migrated", and have it back to "Just installed Defaults". Losing all data, workers, incident, rules, etc...

Perhaps the possibility to take a new "clean" DB is the right way.
You can configure the Databasesetting in the NS Console under Configurations/Server Settings/Notification Server Settings/Incident Settings. Here you can define a new database which will be created for the work with Helpdesk Solution.

Perfect... Thanks Torsten. I never even thought of that route.
