Is there an easy way to let my desktop support admins start FULL scans from the command line without giving them access to the manager?  Something like smc.exe /full scan?

Doscan seems to only run quick scans from what I can tell.

    We are using sep12.1

    Thanks.

Not to my knowledge however you can restrict permissions pretty tightly in 12.1 to where the only thing they can do is login and kick off a scan for a specific group or groups.

I would have to agree with TECH Article 104287 and the DOSCAN.EXE command.

You can also PSEXEC.EXE command line for your Desktop support team which will allow them to run the command locally on their own workstation and start the scan process on the target workstation (assuming they have admin rights on the target workstation).
