This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all !

I have a scheduled scan every friday at 12:45...

I would like to know if it's possible to use the " Scan Now" Option on the GUI Endpoint to run the scan before this schedule ..
For example, if a user go to lunch at 12:00 he can use the Scan Now Option, to start the scan directly when his computer it's not used...

I tryed, but if i do that, the scan run normally, But  when he finished the forced scan and when the scheduld time arrived the scan running again ..

Is it possible to fix that ?

Thanks a lot !

Start a schedule scan before the time scheduled

Hi,

Since you have scheduled a scan it will be executed. The run scan now is an option in case you feel that you need to scan the machine out of the scan schedule.

Yes I understand the

Yes I understand the utilisation of the Scan Now Option .. But If i run the Scan now option 10 minute before the Scheduled scan , When the first scan will be finished, the second ( the scheduled) will be launch directly ...)

For the user it will be wonderfull to launch the scan just when they live the office to take a lunch ..
