As suggested by AmolZerocool follow the upgrade instructions , Apart form that It is also a good idea to go through the Maintenance routines prior to upgrade to ensure everything is in good shape, no outstanding errors, faults or issues, databases clean etc.

1) Pay to have someone professionally come in and perform the upgrade for you.

2) If there are any questions, refer to step 1.

Dinesh,

The upgrade guide referenced by AZC will be a good place to start. However, if you are not familiar with the Enterprise Vault product, it will be better (and safer) to have a consultant on site to assist you with the upgrade process, since from EV 10.0 to EV 10.0.4 there are some additional steps you need to perform, specially with the indexing part of the upgrade process.

I hope this helps.
