This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am still having problems with trying to reimage an existing computer from the DS console. It reboots but then just goes ahead and starts up normally and the job in the console says failed. Can someone point me in the right direction. Gary

Think we are going to need a

Think we are going to need a bit more information but..
You say that the machine already exists on the DS Server.  If you are deploying an image make sure the path is valid.  Also if you are using PXE make sure that in the BIOS of the computer that the NIC is the first boot device. I will also assume that if you are using PXE the machine you are trying to image is on same network (subnet) as the PXE server?

When the job failes what exactly is the error message?

If you could respond back with the error message and a brief overview of how your network is layed out im sure we can help you out :)

I do not think that I have

I do not think that I have the NIC as the first boot device. Won't it always try to go to the DS if it looks at the NIC first? I will check that in the morning. The computer is sitting in the same switch as the DS. The error is unable to boot to DOS Automation.

Making the nic card first worked

I put the nic card first, then set the timeout to 4 seconds so the user won't notice much and changed the F8 dialog to F10 so the user won't know to hit F8. That worked. Now I need to get Sysprep going so it is more automatic. Thanks very much.
