Still Infected files on removable devices

My SEPM has clients that show "Still Infected" files on removable media, whether it be a CD or thumb drive.  Even when the device is removed, it does not clear.  The only solution I've found is to put in a clean disc or thumb drive, let SEP scan it and then it clears the "Still Infected" flag.

Has anyone seen this or know of a better way to resolve this issue?

Try these:

How to reset the "Still Infected" status of clients in bulk from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

https://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?pa...

How to clear the "Still Infected" status from Reports in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

Thanks Brian.  I'll give these a go and see if they clear it out correctly.

It's a known behaviour of SEP.... not sure if this changed in SEP 12.1?

SEP 12.1 will show clear once the scan status with clean message is sent
