  • 1.  Stomp on Existing Exchange Account?

I've found that if my iOS device has an existing Exchange account configured that the EAS profile will not apply to the device.  Is this normal?  Is there a way to stomp out that existing Exchange account if the account defined in the profile matches what's already there?

If this is not the case then we'll have to leave it up to the user/owner to delete that existing account as an enrollment step...

To be clear, the EAS profile will not even install.  Once I delete the existing Exchange account, the EAS profile applies with no problem.

This behavior is by design on mobile devices, only 1 EAS account/profile can be installed on a device. On iOS devices you will have to uninstall the previous account. You can create a report of iOS devices which don't have your EAS profile and contact thr device holders to delete the EAS account.
