  • 1.  Stop admin deleting files when using PGP Desktop Corporate

    Hello,

I am trialing PGP Desktop Corporate and need something answering if possible please.

We have got it working to a degree where a user can encrypt their files, and the admin, logging in through the c$ share, can see the items but not read them. This is how we want it. However, the admin still has the ability to delete these files. Is there any way using the PGP Desktop Corporate that you can stop people who do not have access to read the files from deleting them?

Alternatively, can you stop the admin from accessing the folder at all (without changing Windows permissions)?

    Thanks

    Carl

The PGP Desktop software does not provide any restrictions on file access.  This is an operating system function.
