Storage Expiry Issue

We recently re-enabled storage expiry on our system. Everything was going well and I started getting this in event logs;

Are you running expiry on a schedule or just doing run nows?

Yup, just means you got more stuff to expire than the schedule would allow for, you should still have gotten events saying how many items were deleted and what not

Since this has come up, I haven't seen any new events detailing deleted item counts

So how long between the Storage Expiry started event and the storage expiry finished events is there?
About 4 hours......
No chance that the vault store was in backup mode was it?
May need to dtrace the StorageDelete process when it starts up and just see whats going on, wondering whether the storage delete process is just shutting down or something
Other than that it could be a sql blocking issue i suppose
