storage lifecycle policies
Updated: 21 May 2010 | 2 comments
Hi. Does anyone know whether storage lifecycle policies can be used to perform intermittent duplications? For example, a backup is required to be retained on tape for a period of 20 years, but as storage devices degrade over time, we would like to write this to 'fresh' cartridges say, every five years. Is this a valid use of this new functionality in NBU6.5?
Thanks for any help.

As far as I know,
there are no functionality of scheduling in SLP.In general, they duplicate images immediately when they can do.
I think It does not suit for you.
