hi,
you can have multiple storage units for single media server, in general,if you have 2 different density of drives configured in single media server , you suppose to configure 2 storage units to make use of both types of drives.. (minimum one of each type of Drive)
how to check if we have two different density types of drives configured in a media server then ?
when you run the vmoprcmd -d on the meida server you can clearly see the density ..
same you can check from GUI
'tpconfig -l' on media server will show NBU device config on media server.
'scan' will show what is physically attached.
Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows
