Strange Logs behaviour + command line not executed

Created: 22 Feb 2010 • Updated: 24 Aug 2010 | 1 comment

Hi all,

Since few days, we have a strange behaviour with a wise script :
Some logs, which usually go into a same single file, are flushed in several logs files with incomplete names.

Here is the script :

script.png

and here is the result logs files
file system.png

I don't understand how it can be done...

In addition, the 5th execute doesn't seem to get launched : no trace in the logs and no processing result...

I found no errors in the logs.

May someone help me with few tricks ?

I believe that your problem is caused by your code exceeding 255 characters, so the end of your logfilename is truncated - in the case of the fifth example, the logfilename is lost completely.
Your solution is to reduce the length of command string that is being passed to your batch file, or reduce the length of the logfile name, or even use the Wisescript to create the batch file with the parameters already embedded in it, and then run it.

If your issue has been solved, please use the "Mark as Solution" link on the most relevant thread.
