Strange problem with Software Catalog...

This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hi All!
I'm very new to using Altiris (we're just getting things set up and ready). I've encountered a problem (perhaps it's common - but search didn't show it for me) with the Software Catalog. When I select Manage Software Catalog - the window shown below pops up... and you can see the circular update graphic appearing on the "Newly discovered/undefined software" window... but it never goes away. I can cancel this and it takes me to the enhanced console view (and I can deploy software packages I've created)... Strange, eh?
Any suggestions on what we might have done wrong? Configuration issue? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi Razell71 - maybe doing a repair of the database will fix your issue - it fixed mine.

Hello,
I had exactly the same issue few weeks ago. If you have a look to your ALtiris log viewer you probably seen that tables are missing. In fact it's not table that are missing but SQL View!
I have tried to repair database without success!
The issue wa solved by created SQL view (not tables) missing under Symantec_CMDB database.
I have a chance to have a platform that working and I have compared missing view, exported it with Right clic command Create in SQL Management Studio then recreate it in my corrupted platform. I need to create at least 5 missing views.
Hope you have a working platform to export this view. If not, send me an email with missing view and I can provided it to you.

Hi Stef,
Thanks so much for the offer! I actually went and ran a repair of the database after reading your post, and it fixed the issue. Considering this is a new install, I'm wondering what caused the problem in the first place... but I'm happy this resolved the problem. ;-)
