Stuck on "Enter Symantec Disk Encryption passphrase" screen

I attempted to encryption an external USB flash drive.
I chose to encryption with my private. After entering my passphrase, I was presented with a screen that reads: "Please enter your Symantec Drive Encryption passphrase"
The problem is, this doesn't work with my private key passphrase, nor is it my OS X login passphrase.
I can't access my data on my flash drive at this point and my disk isn't encrypted.
Please advise!

I have been using PGP for a very long time and this is the first time I've had this issue.
