Dear All,

Does anyone know why Custom Sub-resourcetypes of computers do not show up in the Activity Centre?

I created a Resourcetype based upon "Computer" and called it, "Mobile". I needed to do this, as I included another Data Class for this type of computer.

I then generated the Mobile machine and then had a look at the Activity Centre. Sadly, the Mobile computer does not show up any Add & Remove Programs data, but it is showing in the Resource Manager.

Anyone know why? Perhaps it is a narrow-minded bit of programming on the Silverlight part!!!

Where is it not showing up?  

I created a new Resource Type 'Mobile Computer' with a base resource type of Computer.  Then, I created a new resource with that new resource type.  I then went to Manage->Computers to the New Computers saved search and it shows up as expected.  

Are you hoping to see it in the All Computers list under the "All Computers Views" section?  If so, it won't show up there until you create an Organational view or group that contains the resources based on the Mobile Computers resource type.

I think that you have not read the post properly. The machine DOES appear, but the Add & Remove Programs data does not show.

I think that this might be because there is no agent data imported yet.
