Aaron Stebner is a PM for the XNA team at Microsoft, but for some reason this guy has about half of his posts with incredibly useful tips I use for installation development.  Granted they are almost all about .NET Framework, but when you are looking for that "how do I do something with my install regarding .NET" he has probably written about it..
