subscription question

This issue has been solved. See solution.
i have a subscription for 5 units in my home... one of the units has gone south and is being replaced. i haven't attempted to download another copy of norton antivirus on the new unit... i assume when i do, i will be denied access as it will take me over my subscription limit. what do i need to do?
