  • 1.  Is support internal liveupdate in SEP 12.1 ?

    Hello everybody

    I am going upgarde my SEP from 11.x to 12.1. I have a question : Is support internal Liveupdate in SEP 12.1 ?? beacause my company no internet..!

    It should work the same way as in 11.x

    Can you clarify exactly what you mean, do you use the jdb file to update? If so, this works the same for 12.1

    yes, SEPM and SEP clients running 12.1 ru2 can get the updates from internal Liveupdate administrator.

    No issue In configuring LUA for SEP 12.1. I myself has configure 8 LUAs in SEP 12.1 Environement. No worry it will work fine.

    Hello,

    Yes, Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 also supports Internal Liveupdate Administrator just like Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x

    Secondly, I would also suggest you to make sure you are running the Latest Liveupdate Administrator version 2.3.2

    Be sure that your LUA server is configured correctly:

    LiveUpdate Administrator 2.x Server Connection Recommendations

    And has SEP 12.1 chosen to download and distribute.  The SEP 11 defs are not teh same as SEP 12.1:
