  • 1.  Support for Windows 8 Embedded

    Hello,

    Does SEP 12.1.3 supports Windows 8 Embedded. the release notes / system requirements only mentions Windows 8 32bit or 64bit.

    Can anyone confirm if Windows 8 Embedded is supported currently and if not when it will be supported?

    It's not officially supported. No mention has been made as of when it will be.

    You can run the SymHelp tool on the machine to verify.

    It's not supported however expected support version can be a next release of SEP.

    Hi,

    As everyone said as of now it's not supported.

    We don't have any official confirmation on it.

    Hello,

    SEP 12.1.3 was not tested on Windows 8 Embedded.

    However as long as the CPU is x86 or x64 based and the write filter is disabled then SEP 12.1.3 should work fine.
