Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Question:
Company currently has a weekly scheduled AV scan for all local PC's. The problem is that if someone turns their machine off during the day of the scheduled scan, and then turns the machine back on the following morning the scheduled scan kicks off and causes performance issues. I'd like to have things configured so that if you missed your scheduled scan that it will not start the next time your machine is on. I'd like it to just wait till the next weekly scan. Is this possible?
Thanks!

Which version of Sep are you using 11 or 12 ?

On the Schedule tab, under Scanning schedule, set the frequency and the time at which the scan should run.
The retry setting under Missed Scheduled Scans changes automatically according to whether you select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Under Missed Scheduled Scans, you can disable the option to run a missed scan or you can change the retry interval.

Agree with Dimple.
But these techniques are widly used for avoiding scans, which could be risky. You should also look to involve information security team to find work-around.
