Suspicious.IRCBot

I am a software developer, and recent changes to my code base have caused Sysmantec Endpoint Protection to flag one of my DLLs as having "Suspicious.IRCBot". I can easily exclude my source and build directories on my PC, but I don't think my customers are going to like that solution. Is there something I can change in my code, so the DLL is not considered suspicious by the Virus Scanner?

That link was easily found. What isn't easily found is "How can I change my source code so Symantec doesn't tag my software as a virus?"
