Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Environment - Notification Server 6.0 SP3 R13, Altiris Agent 6.0.0.2416. Dagent 6.9. SP5 build 490

For creation of SW portal shortcut we are using vb script which is trigger via Dagent on Windows Vista and 7 and contains cmd /c ""c:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\swragentutils.exe"" /ApplyAgentSettings:StartMenu=True:AgentMenu=True:AddRemove=False:MaxAllowedRequests=10".This line will create shortcut in "AllUsersStartMenu" & "\Programs\Altiris\Software Portal.Lnk. When we are deploying Win 7 x64 we have to change the path to cmd /c ""c:\Program Files (x86)\Altiris\Altiris Agent\swragentutils.exe"" /ApplyAgentSettings:StartMenu=True:AgentMenu=True:AddRemove=False:MaxAllowedRequests=10". , shortcut is created but target path is to Program Files instead Program Files (x86) so the shortcut is not working in Win 7 x64.

Does anybody have the same experience?

Problem is if we install Altiris Agent to Program Files. In registry there is InstallDir=Program Files and swragentutils.exe read this registry and this is the reason why is trying to perform command swragentutils.exe ... from Program Files instead of Program Files x86. If we install Altiris Agent to Program Files x86, it is working well.

We need to have Altiris Agent in Program Files because of System variable so we will modify shortcut for SW portal to have working link.
