mirroring swap

If the boot device is not yet encapsulated, it must be encapsulated using either vxdiskadm, vxencap, or vea to mirror swap. So, encapsulate followed by mirroring, once again using any of the 3 interfaces mentioned.

If the boot device is already encapsulated, use vxassist with the mirror parameter to mirror swap.

HTH,

Bill

Hello, Did you got this

Hello,

Did you got this resolved ?

As Bill said, encapsulation needs to be done before mirroring.... vxdiskadm would be best choice to encapsulate since it does takes care of placing a boot block on the disk as well..
