Virtual Secure Web Gateway

According to information I received SWG 8490 has 2 pairs of WAN / LAN port.

1. Are SWG 8490 can be connected directly to the two units Firewall(WAN) and two unit Switch(LAN)?

2. If yes, both active at the same time?

Example:

SWITCH 1(LAN1) <---> SWG 8490 <----> FIREWALL 1(WAN1)

SWITCH 2(LAN2) <---> SWG 8490 <----> FIREWALL 2(WAN2)

Yes, you can enable 'Dual Homing' when you use the Web Gateway in Inline or Inline+proxy mode on the 8490 appliances.

fyi, im not using any proxy server.

I have tested SWG 8490 but WAN2/LAN2 not blinking.

I attached the diagram. If i setup such way, could it work?

Which mode do you have the Web Gateway in? Have you enabled dual homing?
